Ways to get involved at Cosburn United

If you have a love for music why not think about joining the Cosburn United Church Choir. Our Choir under the leadership of Janez Govednik meet for practice and fellowship on Sunday mornings at 10:15 am and then again following Sunday service. If interested please feel free to contact the church office to get more information.

Cosburn is holding a Bible Study “Our Words of Faith” every Thursday evening from Oct. 18-Nov. 22, 2011 Have you ever wonder what it is that we believe in this United Church? If so, this is your opportunity to find out. You will learn of “ The Basis of Union” our founding constitutional document from 1925 along with “A statement of Faith”,” A New Creed”, and explore our most recent statement “A Song of Faith.” The purpose of looking at these statements is to reflect more deeply about what it is we believe and share what is deep in our hearts about God’s creation and God’s grace; about Jesus who is our friend and saviour; and about the Holy Spirit who encourages us and blows us into the world.
Join us starting at 6:00pm with a potluck supper followed by discussion from 7-8:30pm.
